Extension forestry conducts a variety of educational programs for landowners, teachers, youth, homeowners, and the general public. Programs targeting the needs of the community include proper marketing and harvesting, proper pine thinning, general forest management, urban forestry, taxation, forest investment analysis, managing forests for wildlife, prescribed burning, and other topics.
